Visit Bella Montagna  

Bella Montagna Winery is a private, family-owned estate and working vineyard. Our property is home to our vineyards, family residence, horse stables, and livestock. While we feel worlds away once you arrive, access to the estate is through nearby residential neighborhoods.

Due to our limited parking and private setting, reservations are required and we are unable to accommodate walk-ins.

To request a reservation, please email info@bellamontagna.net with your preferred date and time. All bookings are personally managed by Victor, our owner, who will respond with availability.

Arriving at the Property

Upon arrival, you will see a gate at the entrance to the estate.
• If the gate is closed, please ring it and we will welcome you in for your reservation.
• Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment to allow previous guests to depart comfortably.
• If you arrive early, we may ask you to wait before entering or parking on the property.

Wine Pickups

If you are picking up wine, arrangements must be made in advance by emailing info@bellamontagna.net. Please do not ring the gate without a confirmed appointment.

Please note: We are unable to accept walk-ins. Kindly do not ring the gate without a reservation.

Parking

Parking at the estate is limited.
• The front parking area accommodates six vehicles, each marked with an orange cone.
• Additional parking may require tandem or double parking, coordinated by our team.

Upon confirmation of your reservation, we will let you know where to park when you arrive.

Tastings

Tastings are offered on select days only, which are listed on our tasting calendar below.
• Each tasting experience is 90 minutes, allowing time to enjoy the wines and views.
• We kindly ask guests to respect the time frame so we may accommodate all reservations.

Thank you for your understanding—we truly appreciate your interest in visiting us.

Members

Members enjoy enhanced access to the estate, though reservations are still required.

Member benefits include:
• Complimentary tasting flights upon joining (for the member and one to three guests, depending on membership level)
• Complimentary tastings at two member release events each year
• Access to a members-only area by reservation, with wines available by the glass or bottle
• Member pricing applied to all wine purchases, both on-site and off-site

Memberships require a minimum one-year commitment. If a membership is canceled before one year, any discounts and complimentary tastings received will be charged accordingly.

Industry Guests

We love welcoming our friends and colleagues from the wine industry.
• Due to limited seating, we kindly request weekday appointments, as weekends are reserved for other guests.
• Complimentary industry tastings are limited to four visits per year.
• After four visits, industry pricing will apply to tastings and wine purchases.

A valid business card is required at the time of booking and payment.

Weekends

On select busy weekends, we may have parking attendants on-site.
• Attendants are members of our team and are familiar with the property.
• They will assist with parking upon arrival.

We will notify you in advance if attendants will be present during your visit.

Visit & Sip Responsibly

We are grateful for our loyal guests and love welcoming new visitors to the estate.
Because we are located in a residential area and San Jose can be busy, we kindly ask guests to taste responsibly.

• Please use a designated driver or rideshare when appropriate.
• If you plan to arrive via Uber or Lyft, please let us know when booking your reservation.

Children & Pets

While we love children and animals, the nature of the property—including hills, a pool, livestock, and limited space—means we are unable to accommodate children or pets.
We appreciate your understanding.

Picnics on Site

Guests are welcome to bring a small picnic to enjoy during their visit.
• Please pack out all items you bring, including trash.
